Anthony "Tony" Demma

Tony is the master craftsman, creative planner, and on-site project manager. Tony started his remodeling career at twelve years old when he remodeled the basement of his home in New Jersey. That was the beginning of a long and challenging career in the building industry. He attended the North Bennett Street School in Boston where he learned a great deal about building, construction, craftsmanship and fine woodworking. After graduating from the North Bennett Street School he moved to Santa Cruz where he continued his education building high-end, custom homes for a well-known local contractor. In 2000 he started A D Construction, where he has completed a wide variety of construction projects, including large renovations, additions, new construction, kitchen and bath remodels, and custom woodworking projects. Tony has a passion for fine woodworking, quality construction, and stunning design. Apart from his passion for his work, Tony loves spending time with his two beautiful children, Kira and Myles, surfing, hiking and enjoying our wonderful location.

Shannon Demma

Co-founder, Vice President

Designer * Project Manager * Materials Expert

Shannon is the designer, project manager, and financial whiz. She keeps projects organized and focused while infusing her unique brand of creativity. Shannon Demma’s passion for building and remodeling began when she purchased her first “fixer upper” home in the Santa Cruz Mountains. She worked relentlessly on designing and renovating her home to create a beautiful, relaxing retreat. During this process she met Tony Demma and their interest in creating beautiful, sustainable spaces grew. She joined A D construction in 2005 to assist Tony in the project management and design aspects of the business. Shannon also developed a passion for green building and sustainable design. She has taken numerous courses through the Sustainable Design program at the UC Berkeley extension program. She is also a LEED Accredited Professional. Shannon provides design services that include 3-D renderings, floor plans, elevations, construction plans, design consultation, and permit application and processing. Apart from designing and managing amazing projects, Shannon loves spending time with her family, exploring photography, hiking and spending time with her wonderful community.
